Schedules

File format

A schedule is a Markdown prompt with a small YAML frontmatter header.

Required fields

Each .md file starts with YAML frontmatter between lines containing---. It requires a unique name and a five-field cron schedule. Times use the harness's local time zone. The cron shape is minute hour * * weekdays: a time of day on selected weekdays. Day-of-month and month must be *. The prompt follows the closing delimiter and cannot be empty.

schedule: 0 7 * * 1
enabled: false

Review the catalog for dependency updates.

enabled defaults to true; include it only to set it to false. Weekdays use cron numbering: Sunday is 0 and Saturday is 6. Use comma-separated days or an ascending range such as 1-5. The repository formatter must leave this directory unchanged so prompts match the harness byte for byte.

Not stored in schedule files

Files do not contain a model, permissions, workspace, or thread. New tasks use each harness's defaults for those settings.
